Three local schools have been trained the life-saving skill of CPR in recent weeks.
Moyne Community School in Longford as well as Ballinamore Community School and Lough Allen College in Leitrim took part in the programme.
They have also been presented with an award by the Irish Heart Foundation following the training.

The students were also taught how to use a defibrillator and how to respond when someone is choking.
