A local councillor says he would not like to see the outdoor swimming pool in Castlerea transformed into an indoor facility in the future.
A record of almost 20,000 people visited Castlerea swimming pool over the summer.
A public meeting was held about the potential for an indoor pool last November, organised by councillor Anthony Waldron, who died in February.
