A Fianna Fáil councillor is slamming the government for not giving Leitrim enough funding to upgrade local roads or cul de sacs.
The Community Involvement Scheme sees the community and the state jointly funding these roads.
Leitrim County Council has a backlog of 48 applications - and only has enough funding for eight of them this year.
