A local councillor says the development of a wind farm in south Roscommon will greatly impact residents there.
Cllr Tony Ward was speaking at a public meeting in Rahara National School last night.
EDF Renewables have applied to Roscommon County Council to construct four turbines at Carrowkeel.
The structures will be among the largest in the country with a blade tip height of 185 metres.
Locals say the wind farm will affect Rahara, Curraghboy, Four Roads and even Lough Funshinagh.
The deadline for submissions on the development is in nine days' time.
