A Leitrim councillor is calling on Uisce Éireann to meet with public representatives over ongoing water issues. It follows another significant burst in the south of the county. Uisce Éireann says crews are working to restore water in Ballinamore, Fenagh and surrounding areas. Repair works are due to be completed by 4 o'clock this afternoon. Local councillor Gary Prior says it's the fifth major leak in the last two weeks in Ballinamore:
