The controversial public realm structure in Roscommon town has been shortlisted for a national award.
Part of the town's public realm enhancement works, it was erected at a cost of €1.4 million last year.
The covered space on the Square is now in contention for a prestigious architectural award.
It'll vie for the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland Public Choice Award for 2025.
Another local development, the Athlone Greenway Bridge over the River Shannon, has also been shortlisted.
The Public Choice Award is the only architectural award in Ireland decided by public vote.
Voting closes on Monday, June 16th June at 5 pm.
