Catherine Connolly has said she wouldn't necessarily raise the issue of Palestine with Donald Trump if she met him as President. The Independent candidate clashed with Fine Gael's Heather Humphreys in the final debate of the campaign last night. She is visiting the Shannonside region today as she continues her campaign. The Independent TD for Galway West, will visit Longford town before visiting TUS's Student's Union in Athlone. Ms Connolly says she believes the role of President should be a 'moral compass in a world increasingly driven by profit and spectacle'. She goes head to head with Fine Gael's Heather Humphreys in Friday's election. During last night's debate, she was asked what she would say to Donald Trump if she met him in an official capacity:
