Concerns raised over nursing homes enacting visiting restrictions

Families have raised concerns that facilities are enacting their own restrictions instead of following national HSE rules.

SageAdvocacy claims some facilities aren't following the rules around visiting and have brought in their own restrictions.

It says residents and families are also getting more concerned about the rise in covid 19 cases in the facilities.
