Concerns over proposed Ballymahon energy plant

Fresh concerns have been raised over a proposed waste-to-energy plant planned in Ballymahon.

Nephin Renewable Gas intends developing an anaerobic digester in the Longford town.

Over 100 people attended a public meeting in Cooney's Hotel in the town in February.

Local Cllr Mark Casey was among those who visited a similar facility in England.
