Concern has been expressed over GP services in Lanesborough.
Earlier this year, Dr Ali retired after serving the and Longford town for many years.
His practice was then taken over by another GP, serving both locations.

However, many patients are believed to missing out on essential appointments at Lanesborough due to restricted opening hours.
