Some refugees in Leitrim are anxious about the possibility of far-right and anti-immigrant protests.
It's one of the issues that's been raised at community integration forums in the county.
The Community Integration Forum involves several agencies in Leitrim who help refugees to settle in.
Minutes of their recent meetings have been released under the Freedom of Information Act.
There are just over 1,800 Ukrainians living in Leitrim - with 811 in the Carrick-on-Shannon region, 584 in Ballinamore and 418 in Manorhamilton.
There are also international-protection applicants from other countries.
One issue for refugees is they're anxious about anti-immigrant and far-right protests.
They also have childcare issues - some not able to get a place for their kids in the Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme.
This is significantly affecting parents' ability to engage in English classes, education, training, and employment opportunities.
Some refugee children are increasingly going to primary school at a younger developmental stage because they can't get childcare.
Another common issue for refugees is they can't get a GP.
Transport problems also crop up, affecting refugees' ability to engage in education.
This is particularly the case in rural and dispersed accommodation settings, where the minutes say public transport is minimal and inconsistent.
