A Roscommon community project hopes to tell the forgotten stories of their area.
The Walls Project is part of a mural that depicts a major historical event in Knockcroghery, Co-Roscommon's history.
The first mural has been completed and it depicts a local publican defending her pub from being burned during 'The Burning of Knockcroghery' in 1921.

Community activist, Gordon O'Connor, says this project displays the resilience of the people of the village.
