A County Leitrim company has completed the takeover of long established business based in Strokestown. Brady Insurance confirmed the acquisition of Roscommon company Mannion Insurance on the 25th of May. Both Brady Insurance and Mannion Insurance are family-owned and Irish-run businesses.
Headquartered in Leitrim, and with an office in Dublin, Brady Insurance employs 40 people and generated €21 million in gross premiums last year. The Leitrim company says the move will strengthen its presence in the west of Ireland and follows its buy-back of a 51 percent stake from Boston-based Covery's European Holdings last December.
