The closing date for observations regarding asylum seeker accommodation in Roscommon town is early next week.
Noel Whelan has applied to An Bord Pleanala for permission to house refugees at a property on Goff Street.
The application seeks to avail of an exemption in order to offer the accommodation at Academy House.

A Class 20F exemption allows for temporary changes of use in certain structures to accommodate those seeking International Protection.
The application was lodged on the 14th of April and observations can be submitted until 5.30 pm next Monday.
