The Roscommon village of Cloontuskert officially launched its Energy Master Plan today.
The Energy Master Plan has been developed by the Cloontuskert Development and Tidy Towns Association with energy consultant Turner Connaughton Architects, Bord na Mona and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)
It aims to explore how the original Bord na Móna village can become a Sustainable Energy Community and will include surveying residential and community energy use and needs, including the local national school.
