Ballymahon councillors have offered their support to a colleague who suffered serious injuries following a fall.
Carrickedmond councillor Mick Cahill has been receiving treatment following the incident at his home around a month ago.
The Fianna Fáíl representative was included on a motion calling for a bypass of Ballymahon at yesterday's Municipal District meeting.

His colleagues expressed their hopes of a speedy recovery while offering their support to Mr Cahill's family.
