A Leitrim councillor says there could be a fatality if safety works aren't carried out on dangerous stretch of road near Drumshanbo. Cllr Enda McGloin says there was another 'near miss' reported on the L3306 in recent weeks. He also called on Leitrim County Council to install signage on the road from Creenagh to Carrickbaun.
In response, the council said it could include the road in its low cost safety submission to the Department. Cllr McGloin says the most recent near miss occurred in the past few weeks:
