His body was eventually found yesterday evening in a wooden area close to his home, after major searches for almost two weeks.

The plans would see the upgrade and extension of the astro turf pitch at the Mall in Longford Town to full FAI competition guidelines.

The extension is set to use lands purchased by Longford County Council to the north of the Park and will also include additional car parking facilities.
