The Christmas lights in Longford Town are set to be switched on this evening.
A busy schedule of events are taking place from 1pm.
It's set to be a busy day in Longford Town as the Christmas lights are switched on for the festive period.
The Craft Market at Pig Market Lane will be open from 1pm onwards featuring local makers and artisans with live performances by Emily Doyle and Firbolg.
There will also be live music throughout the day including performances on the Gig Rig with LEDJs, Eimear Reynolds, Longford County Choir, Bula Bula Samba Band and Sugar & Spice.
Creative Workshops for Children will be held at the Temperance Hall.
The day culminates with the Christmas lights being switched on at 6pm by Santa Claus.
