Hundreds of people will take part in charity walks and runs in the Shannonside region today and tomorrow.
Many events are taking place in the region over the next few days also.
The Goal Mile is one of the biggest events taking place in the Shannonside region.
In Roscommon, an event is taking place at Padraig Pearses GAA club between 10-12.30 today whilst tomorrow at Clann na Gael GAA in Johnstown another event gets underway from 11.
There's a Goal Mile starting at the Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon tomorrow at 11 whilst there's one at Ratchline GAA in Co. Longford from 12.30pm.
Meanwhile, in Newtownforbes the annual Shane Brennan 5km run and walk takes place tomorrow.
That gets underway at 1pm at Clonguish GAA grounds.
Other events taking place tomorrow include the 5km or 10km fundraiser for the John McGahern Barracks in Cootehall and the annual Creggs Charity Walk starting at 12.30 from O'Roarkes Bar.
