Five people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Longford in the first six days of a Christmas campaign.

Motorists will be tested for intoxicants and, if found to be over legal limits, will face court proceedings and possible conviction.
It comes following confirmation that five motorists have already been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence - just six days into the Christmas drink driving campaign.
Gardaí are now warning motorists that there's a strong possibility they will be stopped and tested at some point.
They're advising those who plan on having a drink to plan their night out, making sure they have arranged a way home ahead of time.
Motorists are also been reminded to ensure they are fit to drive the following morning.
An Garda Síochána's Christmas Drink Driving campaign will continue throughout the festive season and into the New Year.
