Today is the 30th anniversary of the divorce referendum.
Nationally, it was passed by 50.3 per cent to 49.7 per cent on November 24, 1995.
But the Shannonside region rejected it - by nearly 65 per cent in Longford-Roscommon, and almost 59 per cent in Sligo-Leitrim.
