A ceremony is taking place later this month to officially receive the new Bishop of Elphin and Achonry.
The two Dioceses have amalgamated meaning they will be led by one Bishop.
Kevin Doran was appointed by Pope Francis as bishop of the diocese in February.
A special mass will take place in St. Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen for the official installation of the bishop.
The ceremony will take place on the 30th of March at 3pm.
Bishop Kevin Doran's appointment marks the next step in the planned reorganisation in the Province of Tuam.
