It's hoped an €80m investment in further accommodation at Center Parcs will prove a major economic boost the Shannonside Norther Sound region.
The company has confirmed that it intends to lodge planning later this year with Longford County Council for a further 200 lodges at its holidays resort just outside Ballymahon.
250 further jobs are expected to come on stream when the build is completed while extensions also at some of the resort's key attractions also planned.

Center Parcs general manager Darragh Feighery is hopeful the good relationship enjoyed with the region will continue to develop.
