Celebrations are continuing in Carrick-on-Shannon following the town's double success at the Supervalu Tidy Towns competition.
The Leitrim town was named Ireland’s Tidiest Town for 2025, also taking home the title of Ireland’s Tidiest Small Town.
Hundreds of people lined the streets last Friday, waving flags and cheering as volunteers arrived home to a hero’s welcome.
It's the first time the town has taken the top national award.
