Enforcement actions have been taken against two local businesses by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. They're among 13 enforcement actions taken by the CCPC for breaches of consumer protection law nationwide. Sezhic Ltd trading as Masterson's Centra, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim was issued two fixed payment notices for failing to display prices. Euro General Retail Ltd trading as EuroGiant, in Cloonybeirne, Co. Roscommon was also issued with two fixed payment notices for similar breaches. Both were issued with on the spot fines of €300.
