Cattle trailer stolen in south Roscommon

Roscommon gardaí are investigating the theft of a cattle trailer containing hay seed from the Athlone area.

The theft occurred sometime on the night of May 8th at Meehanbee, Drum.

Sometime between 10 pm that night and 10am the following morning, Murphy Aerlite trailer containing 25 bags of hay seed was taken.

The double-axled trailer was parked on a slip road in the area.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
