Castlerea Swimming Pool is set to open in early June in 2025 - a month earlier than this year.
Roscommon County Council is spending 118,000 euro on running the outdoor pool next year - an increase of 38,000.
The facility didn't open until July this year because of a shortage of lifeguards.
But local councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice says that problem has been fixed for next year.
