Plans for a big extension to a school in Co Leitrim have taken a major step forward.
The Department of Education has given the green light for Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education and Training Board to buy a site beside Carrigallen Vocational School.
It will be used to extend the school, which has around 400 pupils.
