One of Carrick on Shannon's most historic buildings is set to hit the market.
Leitrim County Council has announced that they are looking for expressions of interest for the purchase of the Town Hall located on bridge street.
Addressing a meeting of the Carrick on Shannon Municipal District this week, council executives stated that should sufficient interest be shown for the property, the issue of sale would come back before the council.

Councillors welcomed the announcement at the meeting and stated hopes for the building to be used in the best possible way for the community.
The deadline for expressions of interest in the property is set for 4pm on Thursday the 30th of March.
