Carrick no better equipped to deal with major flooding ten years on

Carrick-on-Shannon is no better equipped to deal with major flooding this winter than a decade ago. That's according to the Carrick Flood Action Group. Carrick was hit by devastating floods in 2009 and 2015. 30 million euro is due to be spent on a flood relief scheme for Carrick over the next six years.
