Carrick Chamber calls for new credit scheme to be less bureaucratic

Business groups in the Shannonside region are calling on the government to ensure the new credit guarantee scheme will not be overburdened with paperwork.

Loans of between 10 thousand and 1 million euro are now available to small and medium sized businesses from participating banks.

The scheme is open to any business whose turnover has declined by 15 per cent or more.

CEO of Carrick on Shannon Chamber of Commerce Paul O’ Brien is hoping that the application process is business friendly.
