Carrick businessman urges Leitrim councillors to reject rates increase

A Carrick-on-Shannon businessman is urging councillors to reject a proposed increase in commercial rates in Co Leitrim.

Leitrim County Council wants to increase rates by 5 per cent next year.

Councillors will decide whether to back the proposal at their budget meeting on Monday.
