A camp for Ukrainian children who have arrived in County Leitrim gets underway today. It'll help them keep connections to their cultural heritage and help them transition smoothly to their new surroundings.
It's being run by Leitrim Development Company for 8 to 12 year-olds. Its spokesperson Nataliya Byelyakova says the focus is on social supports for them:
