The Neurological Alliance of Ireland has met with Minister Marian Harkin to discuss the urgent need for a community Neurological Rehab Team for the Sligo-Leitrim area.
The group says the North West is one of four regions still waiting for funding promised under a 2019 national framework.
The meeting also involved Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan, along with people living with neurological conditions and key advocacy leaders.
Their aim is to improve rehabilitation services for people affected by neurological conditions in the region and across Ireland.
