A local councillor has called for road safety works to be carried out on a regional road in south Roscommon.
Cllr Tony Ward raised a motion at this week's meeting of Athlone Municipal District regarding the R363.
He wants two dangerous bends removed at Cam and Brideswell and safety measures to be put in place.

Roscommon County Council says it's carrying out road resurfacing works in the area next year.
