There's calls for urgent measures to be put in place at a troublesome junction in west Roscommon. This follows a number of near misses by those using the junction at Hell's Kitchen in Castlerea. With 125 people killed on Irish roads so far this year, it's feared Roscommon will contribute to this ever-increasing statistic. Local Fine Gael Senator Gareth Scahill says with the development of the N5, more needs to be done with the area:
