A local Councillor is calling on Uisce Éireann to prioritise an upgrade of a section of a water pipeline in South Leitrim. There have been major issues with water supply in the county in recent weeks due to burst pipelines.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Gary Prior is raising the issue at the next council meeting and says one man has already gone 21 days without water so far this year. Cllr Prior believes further investment is needed from Uisce Éireann to address the problems:
