This month's meeting of the Carrick MD has heard calls for increased toilet facilities along the River Shannon. Currently, both Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod have such facilities, which includes showers.
However, at present, none are in place in Drumsna. Local Cllr Irene Guckian Rabbitte raised the matter at the meeting. She feels the need is there:
