A Longford councillor says Lanesborough hasn't progressed in the last 20 years.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Sean Mimnagh is bringing forward a motion to this week's Ballymahon Municipal District meeting, calling on the local authority to improve tourism in the town.
He's asking the council to progress the development of a site in Lanesborough by establishing a new campsite facility, food hub and community centre.
