A local councillor is calling for Garda visibility to be ramped up in Co. Longford.
Fianna Fáil councillor Seamus Butler attended his party's councillors' conference over the weekend and asked Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan about resources for the county.
A number of issues have been raised locally about the rise of anti-social behaviour in the county.

There have been calls for more visibility on the ground, but Longford gardaí have said they do not have enough resources to provide daily policing.
