Call for Ukrainian refugees to be allowed stay in Dundalk

The families have made ties with the local area and are dismayed at having to move hundreds of kilometres away now

There's a call for a review of the decision to move Ukrainian refugees from Dundalk in Co. Louth to other locations.

Up to 50 Ukrainians based in the Crown Plaza Hotel since last March will be moved to other accommodation today. in Kerry, Galway and Limerick.

Despite many having jobs in the area and their children attending school locally, they've been given only a few days notice.

Louth Labour TD Ged Nash says they should be allowed to stay.
