A Leitrim councillor has called on National Broadband Ireland to prioritise the rollout of broadband in parts of the county with poor mobile phone coverage.
Sinn Féin councillor Roisin Kenny raised the motion at a recent meeting of the Ballinamore Municipal District.
It comes following a response from Comreg in relation to coverage blackspots in the Aughavas, Cloone and Carrigallen areas of the county.
Comreg says it's due to the lack of a telecommunications mast in the area.
