An event known as 'Ireland's Tour de France' will finish in Boyle tomorrow for the first time in 31 years. The first stage of Rás Tailteann will finish in the north Roscommon town tomorrow afternoon. It starts in Drogheda and also goes through Carrigallen, Mohill and Carrick-on-Shannon.
Around 145 cyclists from Ireland, the UK, Mexico, Germany, and other countries will take part. Carmel Regan, from the stage end co-ordination team, says it's a great opportunity to showcase the town:
