Book of condolence to open in Roscommon for late Councillor Anthony Waldron

Councillor Waldron died suddenly at his home in Ballintubber over the weekend, while aged in his 60s.

A book of condolence for Ballintubber councillor Anthony Waldon will open in Roscommon County Council's headquarters this morning.

The Tricolour and Roscommon flag will also be lowered to half-mast.

He was first elected to the council 21 years ago and long-time colleague, Tom Crosby, has been paying tribute.
