Boil water notices issued for Castlerea and Boyle after storm damage

Boil water notices have been issued for two water supplies in Co Roscommon.

They affect customers supplied by the Castlerea Public Water Supply and the Boyle Regional Supply Scheme.

The notices are due to disinfection problems, caused by power cuts at the two plants and reservoirs.

Meanwhile, there continues to be power outage issues at several treatment plants and pumping stations across Co Roscommon, including Ballinlough Granlahan Water Scheme and Arigna Regional Water Supply Scheme.
