Body found following search of woman reported missing from Athlone

Gardaí have discovered a body following the search of a woman who was reported missing from Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
58-year-old Mirjana Pap was reported missing from her home in Athlone on Saturday, 28th December.
Earlier this afternoon, a body was found on a farmland on the Roscommon side of Athlone.

The missing person appeal in respect of Mirjana Pap has been stood down.
Gardaí are thanking the public's assistance as investigations continue.
