A commitment to review the code of practice applied by local authorities and approved housing bodies was included in the government's new housing plan launched last October.

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown, Maeve O'Connell raised the matter in the Dáil this week.
She says the Housing Minister confirmed he wants the ban on pets repealed as soon as possible:
