The Green Party has announced their candidate for the next general election in Sligo-Leitrim. Blaithin Gallagher was recently selected to represent the party in the constituency for the forthcoming election.
She ran in the local elections earlier this year receiving 122 first preference votes in the Manorhamilton LEA. Local Green Party representative, Adam O'Ceallaigh, welcomed the selection of Gallagher as the candidate in Sligo-Leitrim:
