Big homecoming celebrations in Castlerea as basketballers scoop national title

A large crowd attended a homecoming celebration in Castlerea last night - to celebrate a major sporting success.

Castlerea Community School's Under-19 basketball team won the All-Ireland B League title.

They beat Kildare Town Community School by 50 points to 45 yesterday.
